Grand jury could indict driver in wreck

A Nacogdoches County grand jury will decide the fate of a Garrison man who was one of the drivers in a two-vehicle accident that claimed the life of a Diboll man last week.

          Would you clarify your comment? I'm not certain that I understood what you meant by "The law . . . is . . . inhumane. IMO It is the stuff that alcoholism and drug abuse encourage."

          Indeed, two tragedies occurred in this single incident.

          Here is a man that will spend the remainder of his life knowing that his mistake took the life of another human being. The law stating that he has to go before the grand jury and possibly face imprisonment is all but inhumane. IMO It is the stuff that alcoholism and drug abuse encourage. Wish the poor man well.
