How very tasteless of you. If he was such a bad man then why was he awarded custody of the little girl?? And very very rude to accuse someones husband of adultery-they are apparently a very decent family. You really should be ashamed of yourself, even if what you are saying is the truth. This is not the time or place for slander like that!! Many prayers go out to the Melton family and those children in their time of mourning!

Mama Dog, my husband is a Deputy Sheriff for Nacogdoches County. We would like to know if there's anything we can do for the family in addition to donations. Is there a website or facebook set up for the family where prayers can be said and requests of certain items the children need can be answered? We lift them up in prayer right now and pray the Lord's strength and comfort be w/ them. Thank you very much for letting everyone know about the account.

The account for the Melton children is in Tim Meltons name. Donations can be made at ANY Austin Bank.

An account has been set up at Austin Bank for Austin and Mandy. As for who they are currently with, I do not have that information. If I hear anything, I will post it.
I do know that Austin contacted my daughter yesterday to tell her that he was leaving Garrison and to say good bye to her. Very Sad Day.

My thoughts are prayers are with the Melton family. Those poor little children will need so much support through this difficult time. May God susrround them with His loving arms and guide them through this.

          Mama Dog,
We're trying to figure out if there's a bank account set up for the children, how people can donate or help, who they're with and how they're doing. If you can put us in contact with anyone who might be able to help, that'd be wonderful. Please call Erin McKeon at The Daily Sentinel 936-564-8361. Thank you!

This accident is beyond devastating for the Melton Family. Tims wife passed away in 2009. Their children are now orphans. Please Pray for them!
