Real Estate Foreclosures

Since the beginning of the recession of 2008, there has been a great deal in the news concerning foreclosures of real estate. Thousands of foreclosures have taken place due to the inability of borrowers to meet the conditions of loans. Almost all of the foreclosures took place pursuant to the terms of deeds of trust. Inasmuch as there has been very little information reported concerning the mechanics of deeds of trust, this seems to be an appropriate time to begin that discussion in a series of articles.
