Food pantries see increase in needs

Though East Texas food pantries have yet to see much change as a result of President Obama’s signing of the nearly $1 trillion Agriculture Act of 2014 last week, increases in the amount of food pantry frequenters have been attributed to food cuts made in the fall of 2013.

      It is not the responsibility of the GOVERNMENT to take care of people. I will never understand the concept. Why don't people go to work and not be a burden to society? I comment the CHURCH for stepping up. The church has this responsibility, but, the church gave the government control.
