A Garrison teenager was incarcerated at the Nacogdoches County jail Tuesday on allegations that he sexually assaulted another teenager in May.
Connor Clark Moore, 18, faces a second-degree felony charge for the alleged crime, and his bond was set at $50,000, according to jail records.
Moore is accused of assaulting a 17-year-old girl on May 29 in a pasture, where he allegedly held the girl down and raped her, according to the arrest affidavit filed against Moore on June 10. The victim was interviewed by investigators from the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office, who noted “acute trauma in three locations, abrasions, and a hematoma,” according to the document.
“The victim endured bruising and a scratch about her upper body,” according to the document.
Court records indicate Moore is set to appear on court on an assault charge from a case filed May 15, 2019, on Sept. 6, 2019.
If convicted on the sexual-assault charge, Moore could be sentenced to between two and 20 years imprisonment and up to $10,000 in fines.
