Evading arrest, 1500 block of S University Dr. A driver who didn’t pull over when a deputy turned on their lights initiated a chase in the vehicle, which lasted until he reached Mound Street. The driver fled on foot but was arrested “for an outstanding parole warrant and additional felony charges.”
Evading arrest, 2000 block of Woden Rd. Deputies tried to pull over a driver Friday evening, but the driver fled, leading them on a car chase that ended on Shawnee Street. The driver fled on foot but was caught and arrested.
Assist complainant, 2500 block of CR 918. A mailbox was hit by someone.
Family violence, 1700 block of CR 816. A woman told deputies “her boyfriend slammed her on the ground and stomped her head.” A report was taken and the woman was given a ride to a friend’s house.
Controlled substance, 3200 block of South St. Deputies found drugs while searching a vehicle. One person was arrested.
Credit card abuse, 5200 block of Northway Dr. A person’s credit card was used fraudulently.
Theft, 900 block of N University Dr. Officers had to chase down a shoplifter who ran. The suspect had stolen property in their possession and had a criminal trespass warning previously issued against them for the location.
Criminal trespass, 400 block of Church St. A person who went into a home without permission was arrested.
Harassment, 900 block of Hackberry St. A person received texts from an unknown individual “threatening harm to his family if he did not send him money,” which made him “fear for (his) and his family’s safety.”
Theft, 500 block of N University Dr. Officers arrested a person found in possession of stolen items. The property was returned.
Forgery, 3000 block of N University Dr. A check stolen from a mailbox was cashed “for more money than the check was written for.”
Controlled substance, 2100 block of Pearl St. Officers arrested a person for marijuana possession while investigating a noise complaint.
Theft, 1000 block of South St. Someone stole another person’s property.
Theft, 4800 block of North St. Surveillance video captured a person shoplifting from a store.
Theft, 4800 block of North St. Someone stole property from a store by leaving through a fire exit.
Theft, 1200 block of North St. A customer at a store left her phone behind. Security cameras recorded someone picking it up and leaving the store.
Weapon offense, 500 block of N University Dr. A passenger in a vehicle pulled over by officers for a traffic violation was in possession of drugs and a stolen gun.
Theft, 2600 block of State Hwy. 103. A boat motor was stolen from a business.
Agency assist, US 259 and US 59 N. Deputies assisted state troopers at the scene of a minor crash.

Disturbance, Lumberjack Landing. Officer began investigating a disturbance between two people at a residence hall.
