Scam, 300 block of state Hwy. 204. A resident contacted deputies to report a scam by someone impersonating a government official. “The persons gave the complainant some bizarre information about her bank and credit report.”

Threatening, 1500 block of CR 747. “A short report” was taken about someone making threats.

Assault, 200 block of CR 805. One person was arrested in an assault investigation.

Agency assist, FM 2864 and U.S. 59 N. Deputies secured the scene of a major crash until state troopers arrived.

Family violence, 100 block of Marilyn St. A report was taken about a man assaulting his girlfriend.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 4000 block of Red Oak Dr. Someone stole property from a vehicle.

Theft, 4800 block of North St. A cellphone was stolen from a person while they were shopping.

Assault, 200 block or Elm St. One person was injured in an assault. An investigation is ongoing.

Assault, 2300 block of Stewart St. A woman was inured in an assault “by her child’s father.”

Theft, 200 block of Rudolph St. Property was stolen from a home.

Runaway juvenile, 800 block of Tower Rd. “Officers investigated the report of a runaway ... where a young male left the house through his bedroom window without notifying his guardian.”

Arrests included: Jakayla Danae Angelle, 22, of Houston, failure to appear on a misdemeanor and bail jumping and failure to appear; Ricardo Eloy Cavazos-Guzman, 20, failure to appear on a misdemeanor; Randall Fillan Graham, 21, two counts of possession of marijuana; Jordan Scott Hampshire, 30, motion to revoke probation; Benito Hernandez Hernandez, 34, bail jumping and failure to appear and failure to appear on a misdemeanor; Charles Michel McCray, 22, motion to revoke probation; Brandon Dwayne Moore, 29, motion to revoke probation; Xavier Lebron Rosado, 25, public intoxication; Toni Lynn Sloan, 40, evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.

As of noon Tuesday, there were 260 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.
