Intoxicated driver, 1000 Pearl St. A driver is facing DWI charges after a major two-vehicle accident early Sunday morning near Pearl and Lewis streets. “The occupants of the other vehicle suffered serious bodily injury,” reports state.

Controlled substance, 1700 South St. A driver involved in a one-vehicle accident was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and arrested.

Burglary of habitation, 213 W. California St. A boyfriend “forced his way into an apartment and assaulted the complainant.” A report was filed.

Burglary of habitation, 450 block of CR 521. The suspect in a burglary was still inside the house when deputies arrived. An arrest was made.

Burglary of habitation, 3105 Phoenix Terrace. A suspect entered an apartment “with the intent to commit an assault with a deadly weapon.”

Aggravated robbery, 2100 block of Lola St. Police are investigation after several unknown suspects entered a home with a weapon and took property.

Criminal mischief, 1200 block of Mound St. Police arrested a man as he walked out the front entrance of a local hospital Sunday. A caller at the hospital said he damaged property by throwing a phone at the wall.

Terroristic threat, 2200 Marty St. A woman reported a family member threatened her with serious bodily injury and denied her the use of her phone to call police.

Intoxicated driver, 100 Oak Hill Plaza. A driver stopped for a traffic violation was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Traffic hazard, US Highway 59 at U.S. Highway 259. A charter bus “that had centered at the Garrison Y” was removed by a wrecker.

Assist complainant, 1600 block of state Hwy. 21. A caller inquired about “the eviction process of a pastor. They were advised to contact their church board.”

Civil complaint, 13000 block of FM 1878. A caller had questions about property rights “in regard to moving a home onto a piece of property.”

Juvenile problem, 200 block of Freehand Lane. A minor was arrested for assault after deputies were called to a disturbance.

Controlled substance, 200 block of CR 806. Deputies were called to a disturbance where “the male suspect was disorderly in a public place and created a breach of the peace.” A search of the suspect produced illegal drugs.

Burglary of vehicle, 800 block of CR 823. A purse was stolen from an unlocked car.

Burglary of building, 900 block of CR 753. A paddle board was stolen from a storage building.

Burglary of vehicle, 130 block of Collier Lane. A car was burglarized overnight.

Assault, 4800 bock of FM 2259. Deputies were called to a disturbance and determined “a man and woman married couple assaulted each other during an argument.”

Assist complainant, sheriff’s office. Deputies were sent to the Law Enforcement Center lobby to meet with a woman who said she was receiving unwanted messages from a jail inmate. “The inmate was contacted and advised not to contact the complainant except in regards to the child.”

Racing vehicles, 2900 block of FM 2259. Deputies responded to a report of racing vehicles, but none were located.

Counterfeit bills, 3400 block of SE Stallings Dr. A woman passed a counterfeit bill at a local business. “Information was taken for a report and the bill was collected for evidence.

Civil standby, 4800 block of FM 2259. Deputies were asked to stand by for a caller while he “gathered belongings after he and his wife had an altercation.”

Open emergency line, 700 block of CR 125. A deputy was sent to a 911 call hangup, and found the occupants at the address to be in good health.

Reckless driver, NW Stallings Drive and Douglass Road. Deputies sent to a report of a reckless driver on the road found the driver in question “and assisted the driver with letting a light to work on the trailer. The driver advised he would stop at the closest truck stop and complete the repairs.”

Domestic disturbance, 130 block of Russellville Road. A man reported that his wife assaulted him and left the residence. “Complainant did not have any injuries and parties were separated for the night.”

Criminal mischief, 100 block of Wortham Drive. A window was damaged at a home while the owners were away.

Theft, 200 block of Elm St. A woman reported that a known person took her son’s cellphone and she wanted to file theft charges.

Arrests included: Oscar Guzman, 28, criminal trespass; Oscar Ibarra, 18, disorderly conduct, possession of controlled substance; Anthony Lee Jones, 40, of Center, terroristic threat of family/household, interfering with emergency call; Abraham Morua Juarez, 26, criminal mischief; Tommy Dan Mettlen, 48, of Corrigan, possession of controlled substance, warrant; Kevin Alexander Moore, 25, public intoxication; Crystal De’Nara Curl, 25, of Lufkin, warrant; Danny Tarel Hatchett, 19, failure to maintain financial responsibility; Sherry Elaine Lathan, 48, possession of controlled substance; Artis James Nickerson, 44, disorderly conduct, discharging firearm; Clayton Degan Parker, 34, possession of marijuana; Alvin Tyronne Simon, 48, driving while intoxicated; and Justin Oray Smith, 35, burglary of habitation.

At 10 a.m. Monday, the Nacogdoches County Jail housed 259 inmates. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.
