Agency assist, US 259 and US 59. Deputies assisted state troopers at the scene of a minor crash.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 1500 block of CR 747. A gun was stolen from a person’s vehicle.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, Melrose. A person who borrowed a work truck reportedly refused to return it to the owner.

Criminal trespass, 300 block of Hornbuckle Ln. A person asked deputies to issue a criminal-trespass warning to another individual. The person to whom the warning was issued asked deputies to standby at some point on a civil issue, but didn’t contacted them again.

Illegal dumping, 1400 block of CR 503. Garbage, including furniture and household items, were dumped along a county road. A deputy searched for identifying information to make the person responsible clean it up.

Fire assist, 1600 block of CR 124. A barn caught fire, but was contained and put out by volunteer firefighters. The fire was potentially caused by leaves that were raked and burned recently.

Assault, 100 block of Ritchie St. A woman accused her boyfriend of assault.

Assault, 800 block of S Shawnee St. “Complainant state a known suspect threw an item at her striking her in the mouth and causing injury.”

Theft, 800 block of Ernest St. A chainsaw was stolen, reportedly by a known suspect.

Burglary of a building, 2400 block of E Main St. Someone broke into and stole property from a storage shed “sometime within the past month.”

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 200 block of N Stallings Dr. Property was stolen from inside a person’s vehicle.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 400 block of Wedgewood St. Someone stole property from inside a vehicle.

Shoplifter, 3800 block of North St. Officer arrested a suspected shoplifter who “had several prior convictions and was arrested.”

Arrests included: Misti Lea-Ann Anderson, 33, theft of property; Jaminskion Keuntrel Baker, 26, of El Reno, Okl., bail jumping and failure to appear and failure to appear on a misdemeanor; Lucas Jarrod Barnhill, 38, 15 counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor, five counts of release of surety and bail jumping and failure to appear; Dakota Douglas Dezort, 24, possession of drug paraphernalia and parked in a handicap zone; Kyle Eugene Krenek, 22, two counts of motion to revoke probation; Louis Rodriguez, 51, of Pittsburg, motion to revoke probation; Donna Jean Roenne, 52, public intoxication; Dominique Kadeen Swarn, 27, of Tyler, bail jumping and failure to appear and two counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor; Fernando Cubero, 28, parole warrant hold; Franklin Deontay Waters Jr., 43, parole warrant hold.

As of 10 a.m. Tuesday, there were 263 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.
