Resisting arrest, 1715 Dolph St. A driver with warrants was arrested after police tried to stop her near Pearl and Powers streets on Friday. “The subject did not come to a stop until 1715 Dolph St. Officers attempted to take the subject into custody and she resisted.”

Traffic offense, 100 King St. A driver stopped for traffic violations provided a false name and date of birth “due to having several warrants. He was issued a citation by the officer in which he signed under his brother’s identity. Warrants are being requested.”

Civil complaint. A caller reported “an unknown subject was attempting to kick him off his land. The caller advised he did not know the identity of the subject, but he would call us for a civil standby when he finds out more information.”

Burglary, 120 block of Talito Road. An unknown person forced entry into a residence and took valuables.

Welfare check, 5300 block of CR 302. Deputies sent to a possible disturbance Saturday contacted the resident “and learned that he was yelling at his dog.”

Controlled substance, 3000 CR 525. An arrest was made after deputies found a misdemeanor amount of narcotics during a traffic stop Saturday.

Prohibited item in correctional facility, 2306 Douglass Road. New charges are pending against a jail inmate found with contraband.

Littering/pollution, 400 CR 263. County employees were sent to retrieve a gym bag and several bags of trash located in the creek in Garrison.

Loose livestock, 3954 CR 3. A deputy on patrol spotted a herd of goats on the roadway. “Deputy made contact with the owner and (the goats) were penned.”

Vehicle burglaries, 800 block of Georgia Oak St. Numerous vehicle burglaries were reported Friday in the same neighborhood. Two firearms were among items stolen.

Assault, 800 Simpson St. A father and son got into a fight Friday. “The son was found to have visible injury, and the father was arrested.”

Aggravated assault, 1300 block of Rho St. A woman reported “somebody pointed at gun at her. She had no visible injuries.”

Criminal trespass, 2700 block of Center Road. A woman with an active criminal trespass warning was arrested after she showed up at a residence.

Assault, 4500 block of Forest Ridge Dr. Police responded to a disturbance at a home. “The female party involved was found to have caused minor injury to her boyfriend and was arrested.”

Assault, 300 block of Humphrey Road. Police made an arrest in a case of family violence.

Controlled substance, 1000 N. University Dr. Police responded to a gas station to contact the occupant of a vehicle with loud music. The occupant of the driver’s seat was found to be in possession of an illegal substance.

Criminal mischief, 100 block of Wettermark St. Property was damaged at a local business.

Burglary of vehicle, 200 block of Parmley. An unattended vehicle was broken into at an apartment complex.

Found property, 2715 Logan Circle. A handgun was found at an apartment complex.

Burglary of vehicle, 400 block of Willow Oak St. An unknown person entered a vehicle parked in a driveway and took valuables.

Burglary of vehicle, 500 block of Willow Oak. Police are working to contact the owner of a vehicle that appeared to have been burglarized overnight to provide a list of stolen items.

Burglary of vehicle, 500 block of Willow Oak St. A black Ford pickup appeared to have been burglarized, and police are attempting to contact the owner.

Burglary of vehicle, 900 block of Scarlet Oak. A vehicle found with the door slightly ajar appeared to have been rummaged through, but the owner did not wish to pursue charges.

Family violence, 401 Oak Hill Plaza Dr. Police responded to an apartment where a couple were in a fight. “She alleged that he hit her. He was arrested.”

Burglary of vehicle, 4100 block of Kenbrook Drive. Suspects entered a garage and went through vehicles “with the intent to commit a theft.”

Burglary of vehicle, 1700 block of Shadybrook Dr. An unknown suspect went through an unlocked vehicle and took valuables.

Assault, 100 block of Kent St. An arrest was made after police were called to a disturbance among family members.

Theft, 920 block of Georgia St. A firearm was stolen from a vehicle.

Criminal mischief, 1600 block of Dolph St. A caller reported his girlfriend damaged his vehicle.

Theft, 4800 block of North St. Two suspects left a store with unpaid merchandise.

Suspicious vehicle, 4500 CR 350. A vehicle reported as “stopping at locations and acting suspiciously” was found by responding deputies. “Two subjects were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and one subject was found to have outstanding warrants.” Three arrests were made.

Warrant service, 800 block of FM 2435. Deputies responding to a disturbance between a couple ended the argument by taking one of them into custody for an outstanding warrant.

Disturbance, 600 block of CR 514. Extra patrols were arranged after a caller reported a known suspect “attempting to enter the complainant’s house and acting belligerent.”

At noon Sunday, the Nacogdoches County Jail housed 264 inmates. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.
