Burglary of a building, 17000 block of S FM 225. Someone allegedly stole property from a company.

Dog bite victim, 2100 block of Pearl St. A deputy flagged down by a person searched for a dog that allegedly tried to bite the complainant but couldn’t find the animal.

Theft, 500 block of CR 1362. Someone stole items from a package sent to a business.

Harassment, 200 block of CR 221. Deputies were asked to document harassment of a woman by her ex.

Assist complainant, 500 block of CR 822. Someone stole loading ramps from a trailer parked at a person’s home.

Fraud, 500 block of CR 514. A report was taken about a scam perpetrated over the phone.

Threatening, 1000 block of CR 522. Deputies took a report of someone threatening another person.

Assault, 200 block of CR 262. A report was taken about an alleged assault committed by a man against his girlfriend.

Agency assist, CR 659 and US 59 S. Deputies helped state troopers search for a person who fled but were unable to locate the suspect.

Hit-and-run accident, 1000 block of N University Dr. A person’s vehicle was damaged by someone who didn’t provide the required information.

Theft, 4800 block of North St. Someone stole more than $100 worth of merchandise from a store.

Controlled substance, 1000 block of N Sanders St. A driver stopped for a traffic violation was in possession of a suspected “illegal substance.”

Assist complainant, 300 block of W Main St. Officers contacted law enforcement in another state “and provided assistance with their investigation.”

Disturbance in progress, 2400 block of George St. A man accused of assaulting his wife was arrested.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 1200 block of E Main St. Someone broke into a person’s vehicle and stole property.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 3200 block of Logan Cir. Items were stolen from a vehicle while it was parked in a driveway.

Theft, 3200 block of N University Dr. A person suspected of theft was arrested.

Intoxicated driver, 1000 block of NW Stallings Dr. A driver stopped for a traffic violation was arrested for being intoxicated with a passenger under 15 years old in the vehicle.

Controlled substance, 3000 block of North St. A person accused of assaulting a family member was also in possession of a suspected controlled substance and was arrested.

Controlled substance, 2200 block of Pearl St. “Officers arrested a subject for a warrant, and he was in possession of drugs.”

Hit-and-run accident, 100 block of W Main St. A driver who “failed to yield right of way” hit another driver and left the scene without providing insurance information.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 2500 block of Paluxy St. “The complainant advised an unknown subject took his vehicle.”

Intoxicated driver, 1200 block of South St. A driver stopped for a traffic violation was intoxicated and was arrested.

Controlled substance, 900 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. A driver pulled over by police had suspected illegal substance and was arrested.

Assist complainant, 2600 block of State Hwy. 103. Extra patrols were requested by a person who believed someone was stealing gas from their vehicles.

Theft, 7000 block of FM 2609. A lawnmower and a chain saw were reported stolen.

Criminal mischief, 3600 block of FM 225. A woman accused a person of destroying her property.

Assist complainant, 1600 block of CR 392. A person asked for deputies to patrol the area because of suspected trespassers on his property.

Theft, 300 block of Eucalyptus Ave. Power tools were stolen from a person’s back porch.

Hit-and-run accident, 100 block of Brother John Rd. Deputies found a driver accused of a hit-and-run accident and retrieved insurance information for the victim.

Criminal trespass, 400 block of Stoddard Dr. Deputies arrested a person for violating a criminal-trespass warning.

Assault, 1400 block of CR 724. Deputies took a report about an assault, and one person was taken to a local hospital.

Criminal trespass, 100 block of Buck Strode Rd. An agreement was made between a homeowner and a person who walked into a person’s home without permission.

Agency assist, 3600 block of FM 225. Deputies assisted state troopers with an investigation at the scene of a minor accident.

As of 8 a.m. Friday, there were 259 inmates at the Nacogdoches County Jail. As of 10 a.m. Saturday, there were 254. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.
