Failure to identify, 300 block of W Main St. Officers arrested a witness to another crime who allegedly gave them false identifying information and who had an active warrant.

Controlled substance, 3400 block of South St. Suspected marijuana was found in a vehicle during a traffic stop.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 17000 block of State Hwy. 21 E. Deputies took a report of a stolen vehicle, which was later found in another state.

Intoxicated person, 600 block of FM 2864. Deputies arrested a person at the scene of a disturbance for allegedly being intoxicated.

Harassing calls, 15000 block of FM 1878. A harassment warning was issued to a woman at her daughter’s request because the woman “has been leaving her unwanted messages.”

Agency assist, 4400 block of North St. Deputies assisted police officers with a traffic stop.

Suspicious person, US 59 N and FM 941. A criminal trespass warning was issued to a person who was behind a closed business after hours.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 300 block of NW Stallings Dr. Officers dispatched to a report of a vehicle stolen from a business found another stolen vehicle at the scene. “Through investigation it was also learned that the subjects who left the stolen vehicle on the property had also stolen a battery out of another vehicle, replacing it with the battery in the vehicle that they stole and left in.”

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 4600 block of NW Stallings Dr. Officers took a report of someone stealing a person’s vehicle and damaging property.

Death investigation, 200 Parmley Dr. “Officers responded to a welfare check and found a subject deceased.”

Assault, 100 block of Wortham Dr. Someone pushed another person during an argument.

Assault, 1700 block of North St. “Officers investigated an allegation of a husband grabbing his wife during a dispute over property.”

Theft, 900 block of Mockingbird Ln. Property was reported stolen.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 12500 block of FM 225. Someone allegedly broke into a vehicle and stole property.

Theft, 200 block of Beall St. A person accused two people helping her move of stealing property.

Theft, 4400 block of North St. Officers arrested a suspect accused of stealing gas from a gas station.

Traffic offense, 100 block of E Parker Rd. A driver found stopped in the road was allegedly intoxicated and was arrested. Suspected marijuana and a suspected controlled substance were found inside the vehicle.

Arrests included: Jeremy Donell Anderson, 29, bail jumping and failure to appear on a felony, bail jumping and failure to appear on a misdemeanor, prohibited item in a correctional facility and three counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor; Jermaine Kentwon Eddings, 35, theft of property; Avdiel Garcia, 22, driving while license invalid; Jeffery Thomas Harkey, 31, driving while intoxicated, third or more offense, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana; Dareen Latrell Hill, 19, failure to identify; Royce Wayne Kelley, 55, of Lufkin, possession of marijuana and no driver’s license; Bryan Nathan Moore, 38, public intoxication; Martin Omer Nix, 35, public intoxication; Scott Ernest Pate, Jr., 27, of Joaquin, bail jumping and failure to appear on a felony and possession of a controlled substance; Burt Keith Stripling, 54, of Lufkin, possession of marijuana.

Credit/debit card abuse, UPD Lobby. Someone made fraudulent charges with a person’s credit card between June 4 and June 21.

JAIL POPULATION

As of 10 a.m. Tuesday, there were 244 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.
