Controlled substance, 7000 block of FM 226. Deputies stopped to check on a driver “found slumped over with the vehicle in drive” and discovered “a misdemeanor amount of narcotics” inside. The driver was arrested.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 4100 block of North St. Someone stole property from a car.

Death investigation, 200 block of Oak Hill Plaza Dr. A person with medical issues was found deceased.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 3200 block of North St. Property was stolen from a vehicle.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 600 block of Margaret Dr. Property was stolen from a vehicle.

Death investigation, 900 block of Orton St. Nothing suspicious was found at the home of an elderly individual with health issues who died.

Theft, 1100 block of North St. “Complainant advised that her unattended property was taken.”

Assault, 4200 block of NE Stallings Dr. A person arrested for assaulting a family member was in possession of drugs as well.

Controlled substance, 600 block of E Main St. A driver pulled over for a traffic stop was in possession of drugs and was arrested.

Intoxicated driver, 2000 block of NW Stallings Dr. Officers arrested a driver during a traffic stop for being intoxicated. Drugs were also found in the vehicle.

Litter, 1500 block of CR 810. Someone dumped garbage on another person’s property.

Criminal trespass, 9000 block of US 259. A person who stole medicine from a store returned the pilfered goods and was given a criminal trespass warning.

Intoxicated person, 8000 block of North St. A pedestrian was arrested for being intoxicated.

Fire assist, 3500 block of FM 95 N Lighting struck an oil tank. The fire was extinguished.

Deadly conduct, 2300 block of CR 525. Someone “shot over” a person’s vehicle while they were driving.

Agency assist, US 259. Drugs were found during a traffic stop, and one person was arrested.

Family violence, 800 block of CR 134. Deputies arrested a man who assaulted his girlfriend during an argument.

Arrests included: Jon Heinrek Abrahamson, 35, public intoxication; Chaurie Elaine Adams-Berry, 36, motion to revoke probation; Kenneth Owen Beam, 32, of Porter, bench warrant and driving while intoxicated — 3rd or more; Jordan Thomas Helfrich, 30, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, possession of a controlled substance; Breanna Nicole Jackson, 21, possession of marijuana; Justin Blake Koenig, 40, driving while intoxicated — second, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana; Deanndre Lakese Leks, 24, failure to maintain financial responsibility; Paul Allen Molandes, 34, warrant; Xavier Roshad Oliver, 20, assault and possession of marijuana; Scott Dulon Rogers, 22, assault, criminal mischief and three counts of driving while license invalid; Layoshyia Ale Sparks-Obayomi, 38, driving while license invalid; Michael Zachary Trouten, 26, warrant, drove without secured safety belt and failure to maintain financial responsibility; Sarah Valenzuela, 35, possession of a dangerous drug.

JAIL POPULATION

As of 10 a.m. Thursday, there were 270 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.

Building fire on a County Road.

Medical assists on Lady Diane Drive, North Street, Oak Hill Plaza Drive, Cardinal Street, Appleby Sand Road, Orton Street, Dutch Street and Ernest Mclain Road.

Motor vehicle accidents with injuries on Appleby Sand Road and Old Tyler Road.

Combustible condition on a Farm-to-Market Road.
