Assist complainant, 1400 block of CR 521. A missing person returned home and then ran away again. “Deputies advised ... they would add the information to the original case.”

Violation of a protective order, 200 block of Oak Hill Plaza Dr. A person allegedly assaulted an individual who had a protective order against the suspect.

Theft, 1400 block of Tanglewood Cir. Someone stole a bicycle from a person’s front yard.

Controlled substance, 1400 block of Hillview Dr. A person stopped by officers for an outstanding warrant was also in possession of a controlled substance.

Assault, 2300 block of Pearl St. “Officers investigated the report of an assault where … a married couple got into a physical altercation.

Burglary of a habitation, 500 block of Millard Dr. Someone broke into a home and stole property.

Assault, 1400 block of Dolph St. A man resisted officers as they arrested him for threatening to harm his wife.

Theft, 2500 block of Woden Rd. Property was stolen from a business.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 1100 block of N University Dr. Property was stolen from the bed of a pickup.

Credit card abuse, 300 block of FM 698. Someone made two unauthorized transactions on a person’s debit card.

Assist complainant, 2100 block of CR 732. A resident called to report a near collision with a mail carrier that caused them to swerve off the road. The driver’s windshield was damaged by a tree limb, and the windshield needs to be replaced.

Animal problem, 22000 block of US 59 N. Dogs came onto a person’s property and killed two cows. The dogs’ owner was ticketed for the incident.

Theft, 16000 block of State Hwy. 21 W. Reports were taken that someone stole property and money from another individual. The complainant identified a suspect.

Harassment, 8300 block of State Hwy. 204. A caller was told to block a person who was sending harassing messages through Facebook.

Hindering apprehension, 14000 block of US 259. Deputies dispatched to check on people at a residence found a person with four outstanding felony warrants, whom they arrested. Another person “was arrested for hindering.”

Arrests included: Damon Dawyane Abercrombie, 22, two counts of criminal trespass and driving while license invalid with previous convictions without financial responsibility; Noel Bences, 27, of Lufkin, assault; Hollie Michelle Hall, 34, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana; Candace Kathleen Jacobs, 48, three counts of motion to revoke probation, bail jumping and failure to appear and resisting arrest; Shelby Kathleen Jacobs, 19, hindering apprehension or prosecution; Lionell Keith Johnson II, 26, resisting arrest and assault; Larry Donnell Mosley, 60, motion to revoke probation; Esteban Armando Remirez, 17, possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone; Jose Eduardo Roque, 48, a warrant and possession of a controlled substance.

Theft, student center. A purse was reported stolen from the student center.

JAIL POPULATION

As of 9 a.m. Wednesday there were 277 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.
