Quondaila Christine Bellard

July 28, 2019

Quondaila (Quon) Christine Bellard, 40, of Nacogdoches, TX passed on Sunday July 28, 2019 in a tragic car accident that also took the life of her 18 year old daughter, Elyssa Arlene Bellard. She is survived by her loving husband, Dale John Bellard Jr., 44, and their son Dominic James-Armon (DJ) Sellers, 21, who were both in the same car accident in Smith County outside of Tyler, TX. Born Quondaila Christine Shields in Fall River Mills, CA on November 9, 1978, she was a devoted wife and a doting stay at home mother to her two children.

She was a follower of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a religious person who loved God, family, and country. She was creative and crafty and enjoyed making things by hand including jewelry, quits, and scrapbooks. She proudly graduated in 2016 with her Associates Degree in Business Management and was an aspiring entrepreneur. The most important thing in Quon’s life was her family. She welcomed all of the friends of her children and mothered them as her own and tirelessly taught them how to grow into loving and generous people. She was entirely and wholeheartedly dedicated to her husband and children.

She is survived by father Ryan L. Shields and step-mother Kathleen G. Shields (of MS); brother and Mrs Gabriel and Toni Shields and children (of MS), brother and Mrs. Theron and Tracey Shields and children (of MS), brother Uriah Shields (of NM), brother Darren Helt (of AL), brother Cameron Bialy (of MS); her grandmother Quondaila Cameron (of CA); and mother Loria C. Carrington and siblings Cheyenne, Levi, Keanu, and Shannon and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
