Our forefathers said in our country's Declaration of Independence the following: "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. that some among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Unfortunately, during certain periods afterwards, we have fought each other over slavery, or have found it necessary to codify laws over women's right to vote.

Currently, we live in a declining culture that ignores the concept of a Creator, or thinks that happiness is a right that everyone is entitled to in the form of a guaranteed salary, free medical care, or a four year college education. Pursuit of happiness means that we have to live a moral lifestyle, strive for excellence in our educational system and/or work lives, obey the country's laws, and respect other people's religious rights.
